- CONFIGWS.DOC
- 01/08/94
-
- The CONFIGWS program is used to permanently switch the defaults for certain
- Wayne Software and U.S. Department of Commerce programs.
-
- Note that CONFIGWS will update the EXE date of any program you process with it.
- As such, the file date shown by DOS will not match the revision date shown when
- you actually run the program.
-
- CONFIGWS looks for any of a list of executable files in your default
- subdirectory. It allows you to modify any it finds, giving you a list of the
- possible programs. The same CONFIGWS will let you modify any of the programs it
- finds; you don't have to keep multiple versions of CONFIGWS.EXE.
-
- Currently, CONFIGWS will let you set the following defaults in the following
- routines:
-
- Routine Settable defaults Values
-

- Running the program:
-
- CONFIGWS [ routine ] [ /MONO | /-MONO | /COLOR | /-COLOR ] [ /? ]
-
- where:
-
- "routine" is the name of the routine to change. ".EXE" is presumed. You can
- fully specify the location and name of the program if you want but CONFIGWS will
- search for it if you don't. If CONFIGWS is in the same subdirectory as the
- other program, it won't have any trouble finding it. If you don't specify
- anything, you'll get a current list of all CONFIGWS-able programs that are in
- your default directory.
-
- "/MONO" or "/-COLOR" sets the screens to monochrome.
-
- "/-MONO" or "/COLOR" sets the screens to color and is typically the default.
-
- "/?" or "/HELP" or "HELP" gives you syntactical help with the command.
